Setback for Chevron in fraudulent Ecuador litigation



The Second Circuit has ruled that Chevron must challenge the Ecuadorian judgment against it jurisdiction by jurisdiction rather than asking a US court to enjoin enforcement globally. The ruling is likely to have an adverse effect on Chevron's collateral RICO litigation against the plaintiffs.
