Government connivance with GM false advertising



In this Forbes op-ed, yours truly attempts to put the kibosh on General Motors' mileage claims for the soon-to-be Chevy Volt, and wonders whether public ownership of GM might have something to do with the EPA standards that the automaker hopes will bolster its ridiculous mileage estimates.
