As reported here earlier, Albany lawmakers have taken it into their heads that what New York really needs at this point in its budget-strapped history is to subsidize the establishment of three new law schools in Binghamton, Stony Brook and Rochester. Today the controversy hits the WSJ law blog and lawyer-commenters there appear not much more welcoming of the proposal than we, though perhaps for different reasons.
