Stanford historian Robert Proctor, an expert witness in anti-tobacco lawsuits, was given op-ed space in the New York Times on Friday to use the Alexander Litvinenko spy poisoning case as a news hook to inveigh against the demon weed, which he claims poses a radioactive hazard to users.
