Silicosis affair -- typical?



Evan Schaeffer argues that the problems brought to light in the silicosis affair are not necessarily typical of other mass-tort litigation over products such as fen-phen or Vioxx, and that corporate defense lawyers can and do succeed in turning back questionable claims in many of these other areas.
