Vioxx suits meritless? Now they tell us
Alex Berenson article about the expected challenge to the anti-cherry-picking provision of the settlement: As a practical matter, plaintiffs will not be well served by bringing cases to court, given Merck’s strong record, said Christopher A. Seeger, a plaintiffs’ lawyer who was on the negotiating committee that helped devise the [settlement] deal. Earlier: Nov. 13 and Nov. 19.
