Illinois judge strikes down med-mal caps
A right under the state constitution to unlimited damage awards, permanently and forever, no matter what elected state lawmakers may have to say about the matter? This is the third go-round in Illinois, where judges have been especially disdainful of legislators' attempts to limit liability law, and the issue is headed on appeal to the state high court.
