The city of Akron, apparently having had second thoughts about signing up for Motley Rice's big money quest, has withdrawn its lawsuit seeking damages from former manufacturers of lead paints, though it says it hasn't ruled out refiling. An editorial in the Akron Beacon Journal commended the city administration for taking "the responsible course" in reconsidering the suit.
