Silencing N.Y. lawyer-bloggers?

Sweeping new rules on lawyer advertising from the New York bar might make it nearly impossible for attorneys in the state to publish or contribute to blogs about the law. (Each individual post would trigger elaborate compliance obligations of its own.) Eugene Volokh finds grounds for alarm, while Carolyn Elefant rounds up links and other stirrings of opposition.
