Sox and Private Equity

SOX is encouraging lots of firms, big and small, to leave the US public equity markets. The huge Kinder Morgan deal has drawn attention to this phenomenon. Private equity can be a good thing. But as I explain here, the artificial, regulation-induced, demand for it is not.
