A famous email on document destruction seized on by prosecutors as a supposed smoking gun actually is nothing of the sort, according to various lawyers who've followed the case, including Brad Wendel of Legal Ethics Forum, Tom Kirkendall, and several quoted by Tony Mauro in Legal Times.
